    TF448 TREMBond Contact Tape is a versatile, high-performance bonding tape engineered for strong adhesion to a wide range of construction materials. It delivers fast, clean and durable bonding across both flooring and building envelope applications.

    With enhanced plasticiser resistance and very low emissions, it's a reliable choice wherever you need a strong, instant bond without the mess of wet adhesive.

    Where to use:

     

    Site conditions must comply with BS CP 102, BS 8203, BS 5325 and any supplementary specifications. Dusty or very porous substrates should be sealed with CS150 Acrylic Primer (water-based) before any flooring applications.

    If you're using this with PVC, condition it in the environment it'll be installed in for at least 24 hours first.

     

  • Preparation

    • Make sure surfaces are sound, clean, dry and free from oil, grease, paint, excessive dust and any other contaminants that could affect adhesion.
    • Concrete and sand/cement screeds must be completely free from laitance.
    • Condition PVC in its installation environment for a minimum of 24 hours before fixing.
    • Seal dusty or very porous substrates with CS150 Acrylic Primer first.

    Application

    • Apply TF448 to the component part(s) to be bonded.
    • Remove the release liner and fix to the wall first, then press down firmly to create an instant bond.
    • Once the release paper is removed, apply immediately to the substrate.
