    Where to use:

     

    SP050 can be applied to damp substrates, and for the best adhesion, surfaces should ideally be clean, dry, sound and free of contamination. Non-porous surfaces should be roughened first.

    No primer is needed on materials like glass, aluminium, ceramics, lacquered wood, epoxy and polyester. For anything else, it's worth checking compatibility with a test area first.

  • Preparation

    • Make sure surfaces are clean, dry, sound and free of contamination for the best adhesion.
    • Roughen non-porous surfaces before applying.
    • Always test compatibility on a small area first.
    • No primer needed for glass, aluminium, ceramics, lacquered wood, epoxy or polyester. Check with our team for other materials.

    Application

    • Cut the end off the cartridge thread with a sharp knife, taking care not to damage the thread, then trim the nozzle to the diameter you need.
    • Make sure the joint surfaces are in good contact before applying. Apply a bead of adhesive to one or both surfaces.
    • Bonding a larger area? Spread the adhesive immediately with a notched spreader.
    • Bring the two surfaces together straight away and clamp securely for at least 30 minutes while the bond develops. Working strength is normally reached after 30 minutes.

    Cleaning Guide

    • Remove excess adhesive immediately with a high-strength cleaner.
    • Once cured, adhesive can only be removed mechanically.
