    SP030 Fix & Seal Crystal cures rapidly to give a flexible, crystal clear seal. Its transparent finish makes it ideal for sealing and bonding glass elements across a wide range of interior applications where you need a bond that's strong but invisible.

    Typical uses include bonding glass panes to aluminium or anodised frames such as display cases, retail units and glass lifts.

    SP030 is compatible with metals and most other materials used in construction work.

    • Surfaces to be bonded must be clean, dry, dust-free and degreased. Roughen non-porous surfaces before applying, and always test compatibility first.
    • On materials like glass, aluminium, ceramics, lacquered wood, PVC, epoxy and polyester, testing shows primer may sometimes be needed, but not always - worth a test patch first. For anything else, get in touch with our technical team.

    • Roughen non-porous surfaces.

    Application

    Use in well ventilated conditions and ensure all recommended protective equipment is worn during handling & use of this product. For full recommendation, refer to Safety Data Sheet.

    • Always carry out a test to confirm compatibility prior to use.
    • Surfaces to be bonded must be clean, dry, dust-proof and degreased.
    • Roughen non-porous surfaces.
    • On materials such as glass, aluminium, ceramics, lacquered wood, PVC, epoxy and polyester tests have shown that primer may be needed but not always.
    • Cut off end of thread with a sharp knife, avoiding damage to the thread. trim the nozzle to the required diameter.
    • Ensure good contact between the joint surfaces before applying the adhesive.
    • For larger bond areas, spread the adhesive immediately using a notched spreader.
    • Bring the two components together immediately and hold together for at least 5 minutes until sufficient bond strength has developed. Sufficient working strength will usually develop after 5-10 minutes.
