Step 1 - Preparation:

• Minimal preparation is required. floorsaver Asphalt Crack Filler is easy to use. Sweep or scrape out any loose stuff from the hole and that's about it.

Step 2 - Mixing:

• Still well before use
• Decant into a spouted can

Step 3 - Application:

In order to ensure proper drying time, please avoid using the product in wet or cold (below 5ºC) conditions. Although some dampness may be tolerated, it is best for the crack to be reasonably dry.

Cracks up to 3mm wide: Using a spouted can (or watering can), apply the Asphalt Crack Filler to fill in the cracks, ensuring that any excess liquid that overflows is brushed out to create a thin film. Allow the filler to dry and then dust with fine sand or cement to remove any remaining tackiness.

Cracks 3mm - 25mm wide: Prepare the crack by applying a brush coat of floorsaver Asphalt Crack Filler to the sides. Create a slightly stiff mortar by mixing Asphalt Crack Filler with damp sand. Use a trowel to fill the crack and smooth it out. After the mortar dries, remove any remaining tack by dusting with fine sand or cement.

We don't recommend:

• This product is designed for use on bitumen based surfaces. It could soften surfaces which contain coal tar. If in doubt, apply a test area and check after 24 hours that no softening has occurred.
