Conformable Safety Tapes are self adhesive and can be firmed into place with a rubber mallet.

Preparation
Apply to clean, smooth, dry surfaces such as painted or varnished wood, concrete, metal, tiles, and terrazzo. Apply direct to smooth, hard concrete; dusty concrete will require a primer.
Priming: Smooth, non porous, dust free surfaces do not require priming. To improve adhesion on weak, dusty surfaces, apply a coat of Safety Tape Primer.Application
Apply only when air and surface temperature are above 50°F (10℃). The surface area must be clean and dry at the time of application. On stair trends and landings, apply the Safety Tape at least 3/8" back from the edge to avoid edge curl. When applying a strip of Safety Tape, do not peel off entire backing all at once. Rather, peel back about 2" from the end of the strip to expose the adhesive and position in place. Press down firmly, then remove the remainder of backing from the Safety Tape while affixing it to the surface. Avoid stretching the tape when placing it into position. The Safety Tape may be peeled back up to reposition it if necessary, but try to avoid repeating this action. Once in place, firmly press down on the Safety Tape by hand or with your foot to secure it. The Safety Tape is suitable to support light foot traffic immediately, however it requires 24 hours for the adhesive to achieve full cure.
A rubber mallet is recommended for firming Conformable Safety Tape and Conformable Slip Free Treads(the flexible, aluminium backed products) into place. Avoid stretching the tapes and treads during application.
Adhesion: Although the product can be walked on virtually straight away, the adhesive can take 24 hours to set fully. Immediately after placing the item onto the substrate, it can be peeled off reasonably easily for repositioning if necessary. Avoid lifting the tread or removing the tape to allow the adhesive to cure. Please allow the adhesive to set for up to 24 hours, especially if using in heavily trafficked or hazardous areas.Dusty surfaces will require Safety Tape Primer to improve adhesion. Safety Tape Edge Sealer is recommended for wet or heavy wear areas to protect the edges or help reduce water seepage. Not recommended for sharp (e.g. 90°) corners. Please choose any of our ordinary Safety Tapes for internal 90° corners and FRP Step Edges for external 90° corners
